Mehta & McConnell, PLLC, is proud to announce that attorney Jason C. McConnell has been admitted as a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, two of the most prestigious organizations of trial lawyers in the United States.
To qualify for the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a lawyer must be properly licensed and in good standing to practice law. They must also have personally led a case that resulted in their client receiving at least $1 million, whether through a trial verdict, an arbitration decision, or a settlement. The result must be final, meaning it is complete and not subject to change or appeal.
Membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have acted as principal counsel in at least one case resulting in a two-million-dollar verdict, award, or settlement.
Founded in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum organization includes approximately 7,800 members nationwide, representing fewer than one percent of practicing attorneys in the United States. Membership recognizes excellence in advocacy and provides access to a national network of accomplished trial lawyers for professional referral and collaboration.

About Jason C. McConnell:
Jason C. McConnell is a North Carolina native who has practiced law in Charlotte for more than twenty five years. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.
After spending the first two decades of his career representing insurance companies and employers in workers’ compensation and civil litigation matters, Mr. McConnell now applies that experience on behalf of injured workers, using his insight into insurer strategies to advocate for fair compensation. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by the North Carolina State Bar, a distinction held by fewer than one percent of attorneys statewide. He has handled matters before the North Carolina Industrial Commission, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court. Additionally, he was selected to the North Carolina Super Lawyers list in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
